Dear friend,
There is one moment in my life that I might think about if I was having a really bad day or week to help remind me of the good things that I have experienced. This moment was when my mom got a hole-in-one at Estes Park golf course. I was playing with my mom, dad, brother, and cousin. This moment is so great because it made my mom so happy. Not that she got a hole-in-one but because she had all of the people that she loves come running to hug her at the same time. Picturing her face at this moment in time makes me really happy.

My best friend Tyler and I have bonded over a great tragedy. Tyler's sister passed away last year at the age of fourteen because she had bone cancer. I was always there for hime to lean on and talk to when he needed me. If it wasn't for this tragedy happening, we would not be as close as we are now.

I don't usually have many problems in my life that I can't deal with but if I did there would be one thing I would do to get away from my problems and that is going to the driving range. Golf for me is just a getaway from the real world. It allows me to escape into a state of tranquility. With golf there is always areas for opportunity for me and it is the one strong thing that can always make me happy.
