Dear friend,

I am writing to you to tell you what I thought about a book called the perks of being a wallflower. One moment that I specifically enjoyed was the part where Charlie takes his sister to get an abortion. This doesn't mean that I am for abortions but I felt that it was a touching moment in the book because it made me think about my own sister. We don't get along all of the time just like Charlie and his sister but I still love he and would do anything for her to make her feel better.

Another part of the book that I got attached to was when Charlie felt infinite. Him being in the car with people that he loved was something that I related to and it brought back memories of mine that made me feel infinite. I recently went to Mexico with my girlfriend and he family for thanksgiving. I know that I am only nineteen years old but I honestly feel that I will spend the rest of my life with her. I had the feeling that Charlie had when I was at dinner with her family. Everyone was just so happy and I felt infinite.

The part in the book that I learned something from was at the end of the book when Charlie is with the girl of his dreams right before she goes off to college. This really angered me because he had a chance to actually be with her and he didn't say anything. I learned from this because it made me realize that when a chance comes along don't let it go. Take advantage of the moments that are most important to you.

The ending to this book, in my opinion, was very disappointing. I think that Charlie should have ended up being more than just frurns with sam. The entire book up to the ending was very enjoyable and I would reccommend it to anybody. But because of the sudden ending I left the book feeling unsatisfied.
